Welcome to my Studio "My Name is Murt.
I live on the borderline between Camp and Castlegregory on the Dingle peninsula in County Kerry. I have lived there most of my life.
I started to get into photography about 3 years ago. I think I must have had Photography in my blood all my life, and just didn’t realize it. I bought my first digital camera which was a Fuji film 12 mega pixel, and this was a real turning point. Things really kicked off when I bought my first Digital SLR. Here I could control what pictures I wanted to take and with the result I feel I got quality pictures which gives the viewer a small glimpse of what I was seeing through a camera lens, and what nature really gives to us on a daily basis.
I am truly blessed to live in this part of the world. To be surrounded by this natural beauty and amazing composition, which gives me inner peace and, and a real sense of gratitude.
A picture as they say paints a 1000 words. Everyone has a different perception of what they see. This is what makes photography such an interesting art form, and inspires me to capture that moment, that image, that picture. I’ll continue to try and capture that moment, to strive to create great photograph of what I see and feel, and hope this can be conveyed to the viewer. I hope you enjoy."
